Sri. Kapuganti Venkata Ramana was a retired municipal commissioner. He was born in 25th of february 1944, Bikkavolu Eastgodavari Dist. He was married to Smt. Surya Kumari and had three children Koteswarao, Uma Sundari, Radha rani, Karuna kumar, Ammani.

He served as municipal commissioner for almost 10 years. During his time he implemented several development works in respective corporation limits.
